Cabbage Tree Cottage Bed & Breakfast offers a cosy room in our home with queen size bed, pure cotton sheets & private ensuite with bath.

Breakfast includes French toast or eggs any-way, a selection of cereals, fruit & yoghurt.

Our meals finish up with an espresso coffee, tea or herbal infusion or rich hot chocolate.

Evening meals by prior arrangement. We produce a special $55 per person meal which includes local Marlborough Sounds Regal saltwater farmed salmon with ginger & mustard glaze. This is served with roasted seasonal vegetables and rainbow salad. You are required to keep room for our dessert of Almond Peachy pie plated up with sorbet & icecream or yogurt, sprinkled with roasted ground almond and coconut then drizzled with a little syrup and liqueur. In the cooler months bread and butter pudding is added as an option. If you can manage more, there are always a few small but rich (and fair trade) chocolate offerings to accompany coffee, tea or hot chocolate (the hot chocolate is a small meal in itself, with or without chilli and cream).

Alternatively, our B&B guests can always choose from the selection of ready made pre-packed Pitango meals (risottos, soups and pastas) available in Ash House (a convenience for Kaikoura Coast Track walkers available from October to April).  Or you can buy fresh ingredients directly from the B&B to cook up yourself if you haven't had time to gather your own.
