Camping Ground & Prices

The camping ground has plenty of shady trees & is generally uncrowded.

It is prudent to book in advance for the Christmas and New Year period.

We can comfortably accommodate around 50 people per day at The Staging Post, including cabins.  Our septic tank and water facilities are not designed for higher numbers. You can be sure that once you’ve booked in, you will enjoy generous space.

During the classic Kiwi summertime our facilities to make your stay comfortable are operating full time. Fridges, freezers and hot water facilities are not all constantly available from early autumn, throughout winter until late Spring.

The camping ground is only open from October to the end of April.

We can arrange for some or all facilities to be available during winter for groups.

Prices

Power sites - $38 for 2 people, $15 extra adult, $10 per child under 14, $28 for one single adult

Tent & unpowered sites - $26 for 2 people, $12 extra adult, $10 per child under 14, $15 for one single adult
